Being that Francis was my mother-in-law and I was a young farmers wife’ Francis taught me the world of canning. From picking the cherry trees that lined our driveway to giving new meaning to my kids, To “Eat All Your Peas”
The most memorable was the blizzard of ‘78. With A full freezer of meat about to go to waste. She spent the day in my kitchen, showing me how to save it by canning the most tender & tastiest meat.
She was the main inspiration of family gatherings showing love, & affection, even over the crazy chaos of G’kids laughter.
Rest In Peace 🌹

It has been a privilege and a blessing to know and love Francis. Her warm smile could touch your heart. Her kindness, honesty, and caring was always felt. She loved the Lord and it always showed. She was one of the most beautiful people one could ever know. I will always love her and miss her. So thankful for her friendship. May God bless her family for their devoted care and love.

I don’t just have a memory but several. Aunt Dutch was my dads sister and I have a childhood filled with memories. She had an infectious smile and always a joker with her cute little comebacks and sayings. She told me my second child would be a fine man because he was born on the same day as two of my cousins, Ed Maher and Terry Shirley, June 25. She was right he is a fine young man! I am happy to know she made it to a huge milestone at turning 100 last Nov. , but so sad the years have passed and we were unable to visit again. She will be missed and loved. Prayers to all of the Maher family, I will be thinking of all of you in the days and weeks to come. 💖
Love to all, Debbie
