Darlene was my hairdresser for seventeen years . We became good friends during that time no we shared many joys and heartaches too. We were two weeks apart in age, which gave us a lot to talk about. I got to know you two daughters and the grandchildren through Darlene, and Ihope you have many happy memories with her.

Darlene and Sue Tidler were friends for years... and I spent so much time at Sue’s house, growing up friends with Lori, I got to experience “Dar’s” many ornery sides. I think I laughed at she and Sue more in that era of my life than I’ve laughed since. I always admired her strong, spunky, feisty, sweet character. Always tough on the outside, but soft when it counted. I’m sorry we never got to do the “Reunion” trip we talked about with Sue, Dar, myself and Dar’s girls. Life’s truly too short.

We (Melba Dunham Orr and myself, Suzanne),went to Darlene. She was our hair dresser when we lived in Kempton. Darlene was a beautiful person inside as well at outside. She had her beauty shop in Kempton on the north side of the railroad tracks. Her beauty shop was where my grandfather, Dr. Grover Dunham had his medical practice at one time. Darlene used to let me babysit for her daughter, Shelly. Fond memories of both of them. My deepest sympathy to all of the family.

Darlene was a very dear friend of mine for 50 plus years. I met her when she became my hairdresser. We shared lots of good times and lots of secrets. I will miss her and the talks that we had. RIP my dear friend. Love you!!

When I was in my 20’s , Darlene was the first hairdresser i had ever been to, and when I walked out of her place, I felt beautiful. She did a fantastice job every time i went to her! She was so kind to me and treated me like i was special. Loved her and her sweet kind heart.
