Frankie E. (Arnett) Golding, 79, of Kokomo, passed away on July 3rd, 2023. Frankie was born on February 4th, 1944, in Kokomo, to James Arnett and Willia (Cook) Arnett. She married Steve A. Golding on September 9th, 1960, in Kokomo. They had 52 wonderful years together, referring to each other as "Captain" and "First Mate".
Frankie spent many years as a homemaker, raising their 3 children. She then worked for Marsh Supermarkets as a cake decorator, and retired in 1990.
Frankie loved sewing and was quite the seamstress, making clothing and amazing Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing euchre, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family. One of her favorite pastimes, though, was taking long country drives with her "Captain", looking for deer, turkey, and other wildlife. They referred to these drives as going "deer hunting" and kept a journal of what they would spot.
Frankie is survived by two daughters, Susan K. Clark (Michael) and Julie R. Judy (Kirk); four grandchildren, Rylie Gunning, Tyler Clark (Paige), Stevee Judy, and Sydnee Judy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve A. Golding; her parents, James and Willia (Cook) Arnett; her brother, Glenn Arnett; her sister, Barbara Truman; and her two sons, James A. Golding and Steve A. Golding, Jr.
Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm, on Monday, July 10th, at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, IN.
