Geraldine Edwards

Geraldine Edwards, 65, of Kokomo, passed away at 12:50 AM Saturday March 4, 2017 at Northwoods Village, Kokomo. Born March 25, 1951 in Lebanon, Kentucky she is the daughter of Ruby Irene (Wilkerson) Edwards and the late James Edwards. She was a 1974 graduate of Kokomo High School. She was a nurses’ aide at Howard Community Hospital (now Community Howard Regional Health) for over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing and beadwork, and loved to collect music boxes. She was also a member of Center Grove Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother Ruby Irene Edwards of Kokomo; two brothers Lonnie Edwards of Kokomo and Larry (Rose) Edwards of Parrish, Alabama; one sister Dicie (Alan) Blanck of Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo. Pastor James Sharber will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 Am to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the mortuary.
