

On December 3, 2015, at 1:10 a.m., Glen “Dick” Richard Johnson was reunited with his soul mate, Gloria. Glen was born to Harold and Esther Johnson on July 1, 1942. He married Gloria Jean Haworth on August 5, 1961.
He retired from Frito Lay in 2002 and was also an auctioneer. His true passion was working with kids, and he served as the president for the Russiaville Little League, coached for 26 years, and managed the moms’ softball team, the Russiaville Rowdies. He was a friend to everyone that crossed his path and helped anyone in need. His boisterous personality would light up a room and would always make you laugh.
He is survived by son, Glen (Laura) Johnson; daughters, Gina (John) Smith, and Ginger Jefferis; grandchildren, Amber ( Julian) Jester, Derrick (Caity Mathews) Pasquale, Cameron (Holly) Kendall, Chase and Bailey Johnson, Tiara Kendall, Taylor and Nick “Homey” Jefferis, Haley Jackson, Madison Hinkle, Alex and Ray Johnson, Devon Decker, Samantha Evans, Andrew Esposito, Dennis Driscoll, Valerie Moritzky, John, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Joseph and James Smith, Misty Biggs, and Tawana Williams; great-grandchildren, Aryanna Johnson, Aniyah Mathews, Kayden Coffey, Tanner Kendall, Mia Pasquale, and Isabella Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Gloria Johnson; son, Garrett Johnson; grandson, David Johnson; and siblings, Joe Johnson and Shirley Mitchell.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
