

Harold G. Hyman, 88, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at his home. He was born January 28, 1924, in Cass County, to Orville and Alta (House) Hyman. On May 12, 1945, he married Virginia Davis, and she survives.
He graduated from Galveston High School and worked at Delco for 40 years before retiring. He loved, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, and anything else outdoors. He was a member of the Eagles for over 30 years and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Virginia Hyman, he is survived by three sons, Michael (wife Linda) Hyman, Florida, Garry (wife Karen) Hyman, Kokomo, and Larry (wife Janna) Hyman, Russiaville; eight grandchildren, Sarah (husband Mark) Davis, Joshua Hyman, Jason Hyman, Ryan (wife Cheryl) Hyman, Aaron (wife Dawn) Hyman, Eric Hyman, Lindsay (husband Nathan) Persohn, and Brandon (wife Ulyssa) Beaty; nine great-grandchildren, Cole Hyman, Caleb Martin, Courtland Martin, John Henry Hyman, Hayden Hyman, Iryland Hyman, Kelsey Hyman, Kandence Hyman, and Alyse Davis; and one sister, Patti Sanders, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Greg Hyman and Adam Hyman.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor John Buckley officiating. Entombment will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
