Aunt Irene, I have so many memories to share about you. I am just going to pick the first ones that come to mind. It was always a special time coming back to Indiana. I loved coming to your house & playing with the "old time" toys. They were the best! I truly enjoyed going to church with you & Floyd. Your favorite song to sing to me was "Jesus I Love You." I can hear it in my head as I am typing. One of my favorite memories is you, my mom (Betty) & Mary playing aggravation. You were quite competitive sisters! A lot of southern laughing! You blessed us with almost 100 years. I love you & will miss you forever!

What can I say about Sister Irene? She was a wonderful Sunday School teacher and loved God so much! I always remember her giving the history of the church at Homecoming every year. She loved it when Amy and I would sing that silly "Arky, Arky" song on Sunday mornings! :) We lost touch the past several years, but for many years I enjoyed getting and sending letters and Christmas cards from her after I moved from Kokomo. Such a special person! Much love to the family!
