Jane Richmond

Clara Jane Lemley Richmond passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 91. She was born in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania on March 23, 1935 to the parents of Dewey and Martha Price Lemley.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jane enjoyed gardening, walking, or just being outside. She loved Jesus with all her heart and was a member of St. Luke’s UMC, now called The ConneXion Church, and the Builders Class since 1970.

Jane and Grant were married on October 8, 1952 and spent 73 years together. They had 3 children: Linda, Deborah, and Ed.

She is survived by her husband Grant of Kokomo, IN; children Linda Kay VanNatter (Randy) of Kokomo, IN and Ed Richmond (Danielle) of Spanish Fork, UT; beloved grandchildren Amy (Paul) Barber of Kokomo, IN, Brad (Jodi) Hall of Garards Fort, PA, Miranda Hall of West Virginia, Kari (Marc) Lysse of Dunwoody, GA, Jodi (Roy) Rogers of Kokomo, IN, Kayla Richmond of Midvale, UT, Drew (Princess) Richmond of Noblesville, IN, Kelcie (Zach) Foote, Kylie, Landon, and Britton Richmond all of Spanish Fork, UT. They were blessed with 15 great grandchildren Abigail (Kevin) Esser, Taylor (Christian) Russell, Noah (Kylee) Stephenson, Isabella Rogers, Emily (Shon) Jervis, Phoebe Rogers, Roy Rogers IV, Quinn Lysse, Owen Lysse, Halle Chidester, Zak (Emma) Chidester, Lucas (Payge) Hall, Isaac Hall, Alexis Desantis, Nestor Richmond; and 6 great-great grandchildren Adelaide, Charlotte, Mabel and Eden Esser, Maverick and Baby Boy Russell. Extended family of Jeff and Terri Rude: Kristin (James) Rossman, Korin King and all of their children, and a host of close friends who were like family.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Deborah Ann Richmond Hall; siblings Anna Lou, Lois Mae, Charles, and Allen Dale.

Jane’s family would like to give an extra big thanks to Southern Care Hospice Services for their love and compassion, especially Dakota and Destiny.

Visitation for Jane will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902, on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
