Janet Lynne Musgrave Elliott

In 1967, Janet was baptized at Kewanna Methodist Church. Later, she worked for RCA for more than 10 years before they closed. She was a member of the Shriners and Lions Clubs, and also a sales representative for Mary Kay and Home Interiors, where she earned the Top Regional Sales award. In her spare time Janet enjoyed collecting antiques and fishing, spending as much time as she could at the lake. She had many birds, being known for her finches and doves and was an avid gardener and loved canning the produce she grew. Her grandmother taught her to sew as a child, and she continued to sew as an adult. Janet also loved spending time with her family, especially her sons.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers, David and Kenneth Musgrave; and her ex-husband, Ronald G. Elliott.

She is survived by her sons Ryan Elliott and Adam (Melissa) Elliott; brothers Mac (Star) McLaughlin, Steve Musgrave, and Mark (Robert) Musgrave; nephews Matthew Musgrave, Jeff Musgrave, and Joshua Musgrave; and nieces, Jyl Milham and Terri Drozd.

Family will receive friends at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home Saturday, September 30 from 11am – 1pm with services to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children – Chicago, Development Office, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
