Jeanetta Robinson

Jeanetta Robinson, 87, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was born to Oscar and Sadie Wiley in Prestonville, Kentucky. She married William Robinson on August 16, 1946 in Madison, Indiana.

Jeanetta worked at Howard Community Hospital for many years as a physical therapy assistant. She loved to read and watch movies, especially Shirley Temple. She also enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Jeanetta was a woman of faith, and she was a very loving mom, mamaw, and mamawgreat.

Jeanetta is survived by her children, Jim (Sharon) Robinson, Ruth (David) Medsker, and Bill (Debbie) Robinson; brother Harold “John” (Peggy) Wiley, sister-in-law Patsy Wiley; grandchildren Kim (Rob) Dahl, Stephanie Hunt, Jennifer (Steve) Seslar, Brian (LeAnn) Medsker, Billy Robinson, Jason (Maggie) Robinson; great-grandchildren Ashley and Allyson Priest, Blaine and Bailey Dahl, Samantha, Colten and Madison Hunt, Blake, Abby and Tyler Seslar, Christian Robinson, Audrey Robinson, Savannah and Nolan Medsker; and her best friend Janet Brioulette.

Jeanetta is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Patricia Robinson; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Friends and family may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel on Thursday, April 6, with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor David Cornelius. Jeanetta will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carrollton, Kentucky, on Friday.
