Jeffrey Onyett

He was a 1979 graduate of Western High School in Russiaville. He graduated from Hobart School of Welding in Troy, Ohio in 1981 and from Indiana Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 440 in Indianapolis in 1988.

He worked for various construction companies while working 12 years for Local 440. He was a journeyman pipefitter at Stellantis Chrysler Casting Plant for 25 years, retiring in 2021.

Jeff was married for 37 years to Pamela M. (Griffin), she survives. They were married on April 6, 1985, at Brookside Free Methodist Church in Kokomo.

Jeff was a member of Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene, UAW 1166 and a former member of Brookside Free Methodist Church, and Local 440, Indianapolis.

He is survived by his wife; son, Alex W. (Amy) Onyett, Burlington, IN; grandchildren, Griffin an Aubrey Onyett; sister, Karen (Ralph) Wilson, Lehigh Acres, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Kyle J. Onyett; in-laws, Larry E. and Sandra V. Griffin.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene and with a service following at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tim Gates will be officiating. Burial will be at Albright Cemetery.
