Jennifer D Peden

Jennifer D. Peden, 53, of Kokomo, passed away at 9:03 AM Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo. Born November 29, 1963 in Huntington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Glenna (Bloxham) Brown and Harold Brown. On April 1, 2013 she married Michael Peden, her best friend. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2013. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her father and step-mother Harold (Becky) Brown of Arkansas; mother and step-father Glenna and Don Heinmiller of Kokomo; daughters Dana Brown and companion Billy Nix of Kokomo, Natasha Brown and companion Dale Pohlman of Delphos, Ohio, and Tonya K. Brown of Kokomo; her fiance’ Carnell Cannon of Kokomo; brothers Travis Brown of Arkansas, Jimmy Swank and Timmy Swank, both of Indiana; sisters Angelina Brown of Galveston, Katrina Heinmiller of Austin, Texas, Crystal Brown of Arkansas, Crissy Brown of Indiana, and Kimmy Brown of Arkansas, and April Mallory of Florida; grandchildren Devin, Leevontay, Xavier, Elijah, Nathaniel, Jawon, and N’Aisa.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo. Pastor David Osborne will officiate. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, with envelopes available at the mortuary.
