I am so sorry for the family’s loss. He was a light in a dark world. He will be missed.

A few years ago Jesse was attending the same church we were. One of my Littles, Tommy (about 4-5 yrs old at the time) took a liking to Jesse. Tommy decided he was going to be Jesse's friend.  Tommy would sit with Jesse whenever Jesse was there. He even decided to invite Jesse to a picnic with all of us at the park!! Jesse had a kind heart. He was so patient with ALL of Tommy's questions (and all of his 6 brothers and sisters).

When they were about 9 or 10 years old, Harold and Jesse lived across the street from my mother and they would always come over to play with…or harass…lol…my girls when we were at my moms. I saw Jesse years later and  he remembered me and my girls before I remembered him. He was always kind to us…he hadn’t changed…he hasn’t changed. My heart goes out to Jesse’s family, our prayers are with you all.

I met Jesse when he was a young man about 14. He used to play and ride his bike outside of my place of employment, he'd say hi and I'd talk to him. One day he gave me a poem he wrote and he had drawn a picture with it.
It was so sweet. 
I seen him years later and he asked me if I remembered him, I did!

Jesse and I became close friends 14 years ago. He asked for some work at our shop and eventually became one of my dearest friends. We have been through a lot together and had many things in common. Painting was one of those things we both loved to do. I had a gallery night and he had 3 of his works in it too. He was very pleased to see a price tag on his art. 
Dogs of course are tops to both of us.  We never met one we did not love. 
It has been a sad week of trying to get use to life without you Jesse. Gary and I miss you so much.  
We had some good laughs yesterday remembering some of your beautiful ways. When you entertain someone like Jesse, you have seen Jesus up close. 
Jesse wanted nothing more than to be loved and he was loved by us and his church family and his banquet family. You sir will forever be my reminder to be kind. Thank you for all the lessons I learned from you.

I met Jesse and his brother Harold many years ago. I knew both of their parents. It saddened my heart to hear that Jesse had passed. But we never know when it's going to happen to any of us. He had big heart. And he would not want any of us to be sad. And I'm positive he would be so grateful that he had so many people who loved him.. my heart goes out to his daughter and grandchildren and his close friends. I know what it's like to lose somebody that you're very close to and love. Take care of yourself mind body and soul as a tribute to his life. That's what he would want.

Jesse, you will forever hold a spot in mine and Axtyn’s hearts. You were the best neighbor I ever had and your absence will be huge here. I am forever grateful in your growing walk with Jesus as now you are with him pain free! I’ll see you when I get there ❤️
