Jimmy Ray Kenner

On June 10, 1958 Jimmy married his love, Dolores "Dee" Ann (Eidson) Kenner in Rogersville, Tennessee. Together, they had 5 wonderful children.

Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors fishing and hunting. He was an avid fan of Indiana University sports and the New York Yankees. Jimmy also enjoyed playing men's fast pitch softball for years in Kokomo. He coached PAL football and Little League baseball. He worked at Colonial Baking Company and retired after 37 years.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Randy (Kim Larimore) Kenner , Dennis Kenner, and Jimmy (Kathy) Kenner and Tracy (Jerry) Purnell; daughter-in-law, Wendy Kenner; grandchildren, Mandy, Bonnie, Jake, Brandon, Megan, Nikki, Ashley, Scott, Alex, Caleb and Kirsten; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; half brother, Andy Kenner; half sisters, Marcella, Janie, Paula and Odessa; several nieces and nephews including Debbie and Lynn Shipley.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son Tony Kenner, step-mother Georgia Kenner, brother Randall "Dink" Kenner, sister Jean Shipley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
