John Stephen Cravens

John Stephen Cravens, 71, of Kokomo passed away at 12:00 PM Thursday October 25, 2018 at St. Vincent Heart Center, Carmel, IN. John Was born in Linton, Indiana March 27, 1947 to the late William G. Cravens and Norma Nell Goodman. He was a 1965 graduate of L&M High School in Lyons, IN. John had worked for Ralph Rogers and Company, Austin Powder Company, and retired from Rochester Iron and Metal where he continued to work part time until his death. John was an active member of Crossroads Community Church. He also belonged to Switz City Masonic Lodge # 676 F & AM.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Lillie Florence Cravens of Kokomo; a sister Connie (Wally) Swaby of Linton, IN; twin sons Clint (Leslie) Cravens of Stow, OH and Cliff (Katie) Cravens of Aurora, OH; a son Donnie Lancaster of Evansville, IN; two daughters Katie (Gary) Williams of Washington, IN and Patricia Wolfe of Waverly, KY. He leaves behind nine precious grandchildren and one faithful Schnauzer, Bob.

John was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday October 29, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Dave Welsh will officiate. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday at the mortuary. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Lyons Indiana.
