John “Jack” A. Mohr, 90, passed away March 22, 2018. He was born January 23, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Carl and Loretta (Henz) Mohr.
After graduating from high school, Jack joined the Army and was stationed in Japan. Upon discharge, he enrolled in the Lincoln Chiropractic College where he earned his chiropractic degree and set up a practice in Dayton. Jack loved to bowl and travel. He married June Grusenmeyer on June 26, 1954 and enjoyed 63 years together until his death. They moved from Dayton to Phoenix, Arizona in 1962 where he was employed by the City of Phoenix for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Jack and June travelled extensively, enjoying life together.
Jack was preceded in death by his brother, James Mohr; and sisters, Mary Mohr and Patricia Goubeaux.
Jack is survived by his wife, June; brother, Gerald Mohr; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial mass Wednesday, March 28 at 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3155 County Rd S 200 W, Kokomo, IN 46902.
