Jon Timothy Eads

Jon Timothy Eads, 45, of Kokomo passed away at 9:26 AM Monday August 20, 2018 at his residence. Born October 30, 1972 in Kokomo, he is the son of Jon E. Eads of Burlington and Patricia (Sexton) Hecht of Macy, Indiana. He was a 1992 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was a machine operator for the last six years with Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo. He loved playing music with his boys and loved nature.

Survivors include his father and step-mother Jon E. (Starla) Eads of Burlington; his mother and step-father Patricia (Kenny) Hecht of Macy, Indiana; two sons Joshua (Rebekah) Eads of Kokomo, Caleb Eads of Kokomo; his best friend and companion Julie Eads of Kokomo; one sister Heather (Felix) Hunter of Bluffton; a grandson Finnley Eads; two step-brothers J.R. Hecht and Jimmy DeLano; three step-sisters LeAnn Sefton, Jennifer Hecht, and Jessica Hecht; a niece Kaylee Hunter; a nephew Felix Hunter Jr.; his paternal grandparents John Frederick and Thelma Eads; also close friends Billy Orr and Sue Landseadel.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents George and Wanda Sexton; also best friend Clayton Archer.

A Celebration of Life will be at 6:00 PM Monday August 27, 2018 at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 1709 Faith Road, Kokomo. Pastor James Ball will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Area Five Agency on Aging or Samaritan Caregivers.
