

Joseph stopped going to school at an early age to help with work on his family’s farm. He eventually found work at a factory in St Louis, Missouri, and then moved to Kokomo where he worked for Continental Steel for over 35 years.
Joseph enjoyed being outdoors. His favorite hobbies included fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was also an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.
Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph Junior (Renee) Mallory ; daughters, Tina Killebrew and Bertha Thurman; stepdaughter, Margaret Hennegan; sister, Irene Moore; and brother, Fred Mallory. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his daughter Geraldine Mallory, and seven brothers.
There will be a visitation for Joseph on Friday, October 6th from 11-1 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following the visitation.
