

Josephine “Joan” Miller, 88, Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born August 12, 1922, in Kokomo, to Roy R. and Reatha (Gullion) Croddy. On June 29, 1946, she married Glenn M. Miller, and he preceded her in death on January 19, 1992.
She was an avid fan of the Kokomo Wildcat boys’ basketball team, and one of her favorite pastimes was cheering them on.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Croddy; niece, Nancy Pierce; her extended family, Ted and Julie Meadows, and their children, Troy and wife Sara Meadows, Justin Meadows, Nicholas Meadows, and Michael Meadows; and her special friends, Rhonda and Greg Miller and their son, Travis Miller, and Sharon Logason.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Pastor Boss and Greentown Wesleyan Church for their devoted prayers and to the staff at Sterling House for the special care given to Joan.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be made at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
