Joyce Laine McKinney

Joyce Laine McKinney, 72, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away December 13, 2025. She was born on February 5, 1953 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of Jack Jones Sr. and Verna (Mann) Jones. She married David McKinney who survives. She retired from Kokomo Schools after almost 30 years of employment. Joyce loved BINGO, playing cards, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, David "Dink"; children, Daniel (Brandy) McKinney, Jeffrey (Marci) McKinney, Judy (Ben) Yard, Jessica Chavez, Isabell, Tiana, and Coletta McKinney; 13 grandchildren, Nicholas (Karissa) McKinney, Alexander McKinney, David McKinney, Courtney McKinney, Stephanie McKinney, Rachelann Harrington, Kyra (Stephan) Polk, Brittany (Gage) Lidy, Austin Yard, Kija Ash, Alessandra Ash, Harmony Carver, Elena Carver; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet Wheeler and Barbara Coombs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jack Jones Jr., Martha Johns, Caroline Tyler.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, December 19, 2025 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
