

Judith Geraldine Armfield, 80, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her residence in Kokomo while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 5, 1937 to the late Willard and Josephine (McKee) Harrington.
On September 26, 1986, Judith was married to Gerald Armfield Sr. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2015. Judith had worked at Delco Electronics for 28 and a half years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of the UAW Local 292 and attended church at Bethel Tabernacle Church of God in Kokomo. She enjoyed tanning and doing crossword puzzles, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her children, Gerald (Jennifer) Armfield Jr. of Kokomo, Tracy (Scott) Warner of Kokomo, Teresa (Fred) Atkins of Kokomo, Rex (Betty) Cooper of Swayzee, Rick Cooper of Kokomo, Steven (Rose) Cooper, Nancy Coffey of Greentown, Kelly Armfield of Kokomo, and Tonya Burress of Russiaville; siblings, Linda (Jim) Nutter, Gordon Harrington, Dale (Susan) Harrington, and Wilma Thomas; sister-in-law, Joyce Harrington; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Judith was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Harrington and Eldon Harrington; a great granddaughter, Kaylee Everhart; and a great grandson, Jonathan W.C. Lerche.
A public visitation for Judith will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 4-8 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home in Kokomo. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 11:00 at the funeral home.
