She worked as a clerk at the Federal Courts for 20 years before retiring in 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Ryan) Sandy, Indianapolis; two sons, Jeff (Heather) Elkins, Greencastle, and Brent (Mary) Elkins, Cape Coral, Florida; seven grandchildren, Courtney Elkins, Kaitlyn (Brett) Shipp, Emily Hrenchir, Josh Elkins, Jesse Elkins, Lauren Elkins, and Gage Burrow; three great-grandchildren, Olivia Elkins, Allison Shipp, and Jackson Shipp; sister-in-law, Jackie Jett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ed Jett.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
