Judith Anne Smith

Judith Anne Smith, 72, Kokomo, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wabash Indiana September 7, 1945 to Louella Ferne (Sullivan) and Olsene Albert Curtis. She married Guy Spencer Smith September 5, 1969 at Grissom Air Force Base. He survives her.

Judith graduated from Wabash High School and then enrolled into the Nursing Program at I.U.K, and graduated in 1991 with an Associates degree. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital as an R.N. in 2011 after 20 years of service. Judith was a member of St. Andrews Church from 1998 until her passing. She enjoyed traveling anywhere where there was water or a beach. Judith especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was survived by her husband Guy, son Charles S. Smith (Jennifer), daughters Mariella Wohlford (Art), and Cynthia Spielman (Mark), brother Charles "Chuck" Curtis (Elaine), seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

A Funeral service for Judith will take place Thursday April 5, 2018 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church; 602 W. Superior in Kokomo at 2pm. The family will offer visiting hours prior to the service from 12 to 2pm. Officiating the service will be Father Richard Lightsy. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery; 725 Falls Avenue in Wabash, IN.
