Judy A Coates

Judith Ann Coates, 73 of Kokomo passed away on September 30, 2017 at Kokomo Healthcare Center. Judith was born on October 23, 1943 to Clarence and Wilma (Strickland) Coates in Bicknell, IN. She was a graduate of Bicknell High School. Judith was a retiree from Delco Electronics after many years of service. She had attended First Baptist Church, and Temple Baptist Church in Kokomo. Judith was very passionate about helping those in need find necessary clothing.

Judith is survived by her loving children: Gary Pressey of Logansport, Kimberly Pressey Turpin of Sheridan, Bobby Pressey of Kokomo; Kathleen Pressey Cunningham of Kokomo, and James Pressey of Kokomo; grandchildren: Sarah Pressey Cervantes, Andrew Pressey, Jacob Pressey, Kayla Pressey, Justin Pressey, Tommy Cunningham, Tyler Pressey, Dylan Pressey, Sydney Pressey, Kiliegh Pressey, Haylie Turpin, Spencer Turpin, Krystal Pressey and Mason Pressey; great grandchildren: Harper Maynard, Arianna Pressey, Pedro Cervantes, Madilene Cervantes, Kadience Rayn, Taylor Pressey, and Trevon Pressey; brothers: Frank Coates of Bicknell, and Bill Coates of Port Charlotte, FL; sister, Bonnie Kirchoff of Rushville, IN. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Coates and David Coates, sister, Betty Creighton, and her first grandson, Travis Pressey.

Funeral services for Judith will be held at 2:00 PM on October 5, 2017 at the Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
