

Ken Barnes passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 26, 2026, after battling several illnesses. Ken was born December 19th,1965, to Dan and Margaret Barnes in Kokomo., Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his mother.
Ken was an ordained pastor who faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. He had served as an Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone Christian Church and pastored at Eternal Life Church. He also spent many years in prison ministry and serving with Celebrate Recovery. His faith and compassion touched the lives of many.
Ken worked at IMMI for more than a decade and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Ken loved baseball and was a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Bears fan. Ken graduated from Taylor High School in 1984. He was a catcher on the baseball team and also played football for the Titans. Ken also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting knives.
More than anything, Ken loved his family. He cherished time with his wife, his two daughters, and especially his two granddaughters, who lovingly called him "Pop Pop."
Ken will be remembered for his strong faith, kind heart, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ken is survived by his wife of 40 years, Geri, Barnes, his daughters, Kenzie (Gage) Rogers, Kylee Barnes, (Devon Weiser) and granddaughters, Brinlee Barnes and Arora Barnes. His father Dan Barnes, and brothers Ron (LeAnn) Barnes, Tim (Tresa) Barnes, and several nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a celebration of life on Wednesday, July 1st from 4pm-8pm at the Legacy Barn located at 951 County Rd North 600 West, Kokomo, 46901. We will have an informal fellowship with food for all.
