

Kenneth attended Kokomo High School and graduated in 1965. After high school he made the honorable decision to serve his country by joining the US Army. He even served time in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on June 19, 1968. During this time he also worked for Chrysler were he stayed for 30 years until his retirement in 1995.
Kenneth had various different hobbies all the way from collecting coins to tending to wildlife such as feeding birds and squirrels that came to his property. You could always catch him going on walks or riding bikes with his friends and family.
Kenneth is survived by his sisters Carol (Melton) Williams (Ralph) of Russiaville, Linda (Melton) Darlin (Tom) of Frankfort; brother Dale Melton Jr. (Debbie) of Victoria, TX; nieces and nephews Michael Daubenspeck (Susan) Lebanon, Gina (Darlin) Smith (Tony) Kokomo, Michelle Darlin Hawkins (David) Marion, Karen Daubenspeck, Russiaville, Tony Darlin (Stephanie) Frankfort, Jenny (Melton) Tacon (Joey) Pisa, Italy, Lori (Melton) Frazier (Jonathan) Victoria, TX; and many great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dale and Wanda (Sampson) Melton; as well as brother-in-law's Ralph Williams and Tom Darlin.
