Kenneth Wells

He graduated from Lawrence Central High School and later attended Indiana State University and IUPUI. He served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed stamp collecting and the outdoors and was a member of the American Legion in Lafayette and The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Lafayette.

He is survived by his mother; one brother, Stephen (JoAnn VonBergen) Wells; two sisters, Marilyn Padgett, and Catherine (Mark) Alkire; five nieces; and nine great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Gilliland Howe Funeral Home, 110 E. North St., Greensburg, IN 47240. Burial will follow in South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Association or the charity of one’s choice.
