

Larry Lee Logan, 72, of Kokomo, passed away at 5:43 AM Thursday October 12, 2017 at St. Vincent-Kokomo. Born March 14, 1945 in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ellis Logan and Myrle (Brown) Logan. He was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. On October 22, 2005 he married Darlene Ollivette (Dunn), and she survives. He was employed with the DANA Corporation for 16 years, then with the Marion VA Hospital for 28 years, before retiring. He was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, the American Legion, and loved NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife Darlene Ollivette Logan; one son Jason Paul (Brianna) Logan of Marion; two step-sons Jeremy James Stevens and companion Christy Cruea of Kokomo, and Matthew Stevens of Kokomo; and one brother Don (Frances) Logan of Marion. There are also eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Henry Logan, James Logan and Glenn Logan; also his first wife Sharon (Helms) Logan.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 21, 2017 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Jeff Russell will officiate. Burial will follow with military rites by the United States Marine Corps and the Kokomo Military Rites Team at Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the mortuary.
