Luis Francisco Medina

Luis Francisco Medina, age 80, of Walton, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 31, 2025. Luis was born on September 16, 1945 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Digna (Fereiro) Medina.

Luis served in the US Army, a part of the 1st Aviation Brigade unit and was honorably discharged in 1978. He worked for Delco Electronics as a Skilled Trades painter for 30 years before his retirement. He enjoyed going out on his boat with his wife, Anna, and fishing at new locations. If he wasn't out on the water then he was out on the road following car shows. Luis was a corvette enthusiast and he especially loved his own classic 1967 corvette. Above everything he loved his family.

Luis is survived by his loving wife Anna Medina; sons David Medina (Gabrelle) and Michael Harland (Laurie), Kristie Powell (Doug); grandchildren Brittany Russell (John), Luciano Medina (Cheyan), Nichlaus Medina, Madison Bales, Maxine Powell, Ashley Staples, Amber McCarva and Anthony Wilson; great-grandchildren Lily Medina, Holland Russell, as well as 9 others; brothers Hector "Junior" Medina (Donna), Ivan Medina (Marlene) and Cesar Medina, his beloved cat Motor, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Luis is preceded in death by his sister Iris Harland; aunt Irma Nutt (Willis); uncle Forest Nutt (Maxine); and infant son Luis Junior Medina.

A visitation for Luis will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
