Mannie Ford Jr., 74, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family. Mannie was born on May 31, 1942 in Kokomo, to Mannie Sr. and Parley Ford. He married Terry Gifford in Kokomo on May 5, 1961. He retired from Chrysler after 31 years. Mannie was a self-made artist, enjoying oil painting. He also played golf and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Mannie and Terry never missed a Kokomo Wildcats game.
Mannie is survived by his wife, Terry; sons Phil and Russell Ford; sister Rebecca (Lee) Reeves; grandchildren Emily (Brad) Redding and Evan Ford; two great-grandchildren Liam and Eliana Redding.
Mannie is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Larry and Glen Ford, and sister Juanita Sutherin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 821 North Armstrong Street Kokomo, Indiana 46901.
