Margaret Joan Fakes, age 97, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at North Woods Village in Kokomo. She was born in Atlanta, Indiana on October 8, 1927. She retired from Delco Electronics after 34 years of service. She loved watching game shows and playing slot machines in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her 4 daughters, Linda Suter, Peggy Pollard, Patty (Wayne) Quirk, Kathy (Brad) Chaplin and 2 sons, Bob and Steve Fakes, all of Kokomo. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy, her parents, 2 sisters, a son-in-law, and ex-husband.
A graveside service for Margaret will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Albright Cemetery, 3910 Albright Rd, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, where she will be laid to rest.
