Obituary of Margaret Dorothy Schultz
Margaret Dorothy Schultz, 101, of Kokomo, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Wednesday November 28, 2018. Margaret was born June 25, 1917 in Chicago to the late May (Rosenthal) and William Kalboth. She married Herman Schultz October 26, 1946 in Chicago. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary before Herman passed January 12, 2002. Margaret loved all children, especially her daughter, many nieces and nephews, and she was a great great great aunt. She loved Christmas and baking and decorating cookies that she wouldn't let anybody eat until Christmas day. She enjoyed country car rides and being a "backseat driver". Margaret had the kindest smile and never had an unkind word for anyone. She was a delight to all who knew her. Margaret and her only daughter, Eileen, had the most unconditional love and special bond. The family is blessed to have had her for so many years. Life will not be the same with out her, but the bond will always be there. She made it very clear early on that her and Eileen were not friends, but mother and daughter!! Every night before bed, Elieen kissed her mother on the forehead and said, "I love you" and Margaret would say "I love you more". She is Eileen's Christmas angel now. Surviving Margaret is her daughter who was her care giver Eileen F. Schultz and who loved her very much, and many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother William John Kalboth, and Elsie Stevens her sister in law, that was more like a sister that lived in the same area as her. Visiting hours will take place Sunday December 2, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel from 2pm - 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Monday December 3, 2018 at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. The family asks that if you wish to send anything, please let them be pieces for the cemetery or contribute to Margaret's grave marker.
