

Marilyn Neva Conn, 88, of Kokomo, passed away at 7:10 P.M., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Century Villa Healthcare. She was born January 30, 1929 in Kokomo to the late Frank M. and Jessie H. (Hastings) Rose. She married Matthew T. Conn on November 9, 1941 and he preceded her death on February 4, 1999.
Marilyn graduated from Kokomo High School in 1947. She was primarily a homemaker but worked part-time at the Kokomo Library repairing books and Family and Social Services Administration as a receptionist. Marilyn was an avid reader, who enjoyed playing board games and cards with family and friends, walking, and spending time with her children. She was a former President of the Howard County Diabetes Association and former member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her two sons, Glenn M. Conn and Gary M. Conn; two grandchildren, Matthew Conn and Ulitha Marie; two nieces, Eva and Marcia; and nephew, Norman.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Matthew; son, Gregory M. Conn; and several siblings.
The graveside service for Marilyn will be on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2pm, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with Chaplain Dave Stout officiating.
