Marilyn Fay Hughes

Marilyn Fay Hughes, 88, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away June 19, 2024 at her home. She was born on April 12, 1936 in Elwood, IN the daughter of Charles W. and Deloris Faucett (Welch). In 1954, she married Cecil Hughes who preceded her in death in 2012.

Marilyn graduated from Kokomo High School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved gardening and her pet cats. Marilyn was a NASCAR fan.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Michael Hughes (Gloria) of Cordele, GA; Timothy Hughes of Kokomo, IN; David Hughes (Sheila) of Kokomo, IN; Rich Hughes (Sandy) of Kokomo, IN; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister, Pat Miller of Kokomo, IN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Allen and Donald Hughes, sister Judy Wilson and brother Dave Faucett.

Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, June 24, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary. Funeral services 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Ellers Mortuary 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46901.
