Mark Anthony Grubb

Mark attended Taylor High School, and then went on to work as a carpenter, painter, and landscaper. He was married to Shelly (Fiscel) on September 11, 2002, and she preceded him in death on July 20, 2017.

Mark enjoyed NASCAR and going to rock and roll concerts (Ozzfest, AC-DC, Aerosmith…), but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody he met.

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by a son, Mark A (Danielle) Paul; a daughter, Tiffany R (fiancé Jeremiah Hebner) Shanks; stepsons, Jeremy (Whitney) Shanks, Nick (Bobbi) Shanks, Kelly Prater, and Steven Prater; brothers, Daryl (Martha) Grubb, and Gary L Grubb Jr; and sister, Stacey (David) Sauer. Mark also leaves behind 16 grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted Grubb and Marie (Leighty) Richards, and maternal grandparents, James D Waddle and Sylvia S. (Haynes) Waddle.

There will be a public visitation for Mark on Thursday, October 5th from 5-7 p.m. at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home.
