Mary "Sue" Price

Mary Sue (Grant) Price, 81, formerly of Kokomo, went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2016 at the Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Sue was born on May 28, 1935 in Springfield, TN to Rayburn and Maudye (Whitaker) Grant, where she was 1 of 6 children. Sue had been an Emergency Medical Technician and Qualified Medical Assistant during her work life. Outside of work, Sue was an avid bowler, and a member of leagues at Cedar Crest Lanes. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, playing cards, bingo and watching basketball. In recent years, Sue was an officer of the Resident Council for Sage Bluff Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.

Sue is survived by her children: Loretta (Larry) Koepp of Norwalk, Ohio, Benny Ray (Kathy) Elliott of Shorewood, IL, Diane (Nicholas) Juranko of Wilder, TN, Sheila (Doug) Mertens of Fort Wayne, Joyce (Roger) Higgenbottom of Greentown, Carol McKoon of Kokomo and Mike Price of Kokomo; sister, Bettye Violette; 18 grandchildren, over 20 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William H. Price, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, IN 46902. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
