Michael "Mike" Francis Randolph, 74, went to be with the Lord on February 10th, 2022. He was born on March 29th, 1947 in Logansport to Francis and Maureen (Cherry) Randolph. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966 before serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. After being honorably discharged in 1972, Mike served in the Army National Guard until 1981.
After coming home from Vietnam, Mike married Lynda Marcia King on October 19th, 1968.
Mike began working at Chrysler in Kokomo in 1968 until he retired in 2001. He worked as a Journeyman in Machine Repair.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, camping, scuba diving, and woodworking. He also enjoyed working on and painting cars. Mike loved spending time at the beach to fish and enjoy being near the ocean. He loved spending time with his family, especially when it was time to eat! Having a fish fry with everyone with the catch of the day was always a favorite pastime. He would filet them, and Lynda would fry them.
Mike is preceded in death by his dad, Francis W. Randolph; his grandparents, Bill and Lucy (Walman)Cherry, & John and Mary (Albright) Randolph.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lynda; his mother, Maureen; children: Kelly Randolph, Angela Porter (Tim), and Daniel "Danny" Randolph (Elizabeth); grandchildren: Alyssa Pickett (Elijah), Alexandra Tryling (Gabe); Brandon, Nicole, and Luisa Randolph; great-grandchildren: Ezra, Asher, Eisley, and Aleah; siblings: Patricia Sheridan (Tom), Carolyn Carver (Larry), Christy Shoemaker (Joe), and Teresa Keown (Randy); brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Lanora Eldridge; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services for Mike will be held at The Connection at Morning Star Church, 2900 E Markland Ave, Kokomo, Indiana 46901, on Thursday, February 17th at 1pm. Pastor Jeff Evans will officiate. Friends and family may gather for a time of visitation starting at 11am until services begin.
Mike will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden.
