Myra Lou Wilson, 68, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1958 in Tipton to the late Paul Leon and Phyllis E. (Ward) Bugher. Myra married Charles "Chuck" Wilson on February 14, 1980 in Kokomo, and he passed away on June 14, 2017.
Myra worked in the healthcare industry as a CNA and QMA for many years. She was also a caregiver for many of own family members throughout the years. Myra enjoyed playing poker, traveling, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Myra is survived by her children, Todd (Michelle Hartley) Bugher, of Kokomo, Tammy (Brad Jones) Wilson, of Kokomo, Amanda (Gordon) Parsons, of Florida, Shannon Davis, of Kokomo, Ed (Cindy) Wilson, of Toledo, and Rich (Patricia) Wilson, of Toledo; grandchildren, Izaiah (Bliss) Bugher, Ayden Mudd, Vincent Bugher, Adrianna Davis-Bugher, Dominik Bugher, Bryan Schleppenbach, Dalton Jones, and Kayce Wilson; great-granddaughters, Opal, Loxley, and Alyanna; siblings, Shirley Bugher and Brenda Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death are her husband, Charles; her parents; and siblings, Charlene Kitts, Pam Bugher, Steve Bugher, and Tina Watterson.
Myra's family would like to send a special thanks to her lifelong best friend, Nancy Jones and her son, Tom Jones for their love and support.
There will be a visitation for Myra on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial will follow to Kokomo Memorial Park.
