Nancy Ellen Massey

Nancy Ellen Massey, age 72, of Bringhurst, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Nancy was born May 17, 1950 to the late Winfred and Della Walker, in Kokomo. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1968 before attending Indiana University-Kokomo. She married Robert "Bob" Massey on March 22, 1969, and together they had two boys, Aaron and Justin. She retired from General Motors in 1998 after 30 years of service.

Nancy loved gardening, cooking, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids. She was an avid reader, and was very knowledgeable in many subjects. Friends, family, and even strangers would often come to her for advice and guidance. She loved animals, especially her dog, Shadow. Nancy could always be found watching the abundance of wildlife outside her home.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bob; her two sons, Aaron Massey and Justin Massey (Missy); sister, Becky Duncan; brother, George Walker (Sally Wilson); and grandchildren: Kemah Klemme, Kaisie Clark, MacKenzie Cummings, and Cameron Sutherland.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation for Nancy will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a celebration of life at 5:00 PM.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Kokomo Humane Society or the Kokomo Rescue Mission. Envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
