Nancy Gail West

Nancy participated in many fundraisers, contributing to the American Cancer Society as well as the Kokomo Humane Society. She absolutely adored animals, whether it was her fur babies at home or the seagulls on the beach. She loved having her feet in the sand, and listening to the waves crash.

Nancy was a social butterfly. She and her husband, Gary, would bowl with some of their friends in a local league. To keep up with her friends, she had a monthly lunch scheduled with them that she always looked forward to.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years Gary West; her sisters Renee (Uriah) Nevins and Susan Vaux; step siblings Steven (Robin) Walker, Terry Henson, Susan (Chuck) Triplet, Lisa (Gary) Flatford, Jeannie (Scott) Flatford; nephews Andy Vaux and Kevin Zody; niece Jennifer (Chris) Daniels; and sister-in-law Millie Zody. She also leaves behind her three fur babies Zoie, Mookie, and Mazzie.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Junior Zody; stepbrother Dale Zody; stepfather Morgan Vaux; and stepmother Norma Zody.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to Kokomo Humane Society, 729 E Hoffer St., Kokomo, Indiana.
