

She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1953. She had worked at Hausman Steel, Palmer’s Jewelry, radio station Z-93, and Treasure Mart. She was a member of the Howard County Historical Society and volunteered at the Seiberling Mansion. She also volunteered for Samaritan Caregivers and read for the blind. She enjoyed attending park concerts by the Kokomo Park Band and was a supporter of community concerts. She also supported the FOP. She was in the Kokomo Civic Theater and was a professional vocalist. She was a lifetime member of First Christian Church and sang in the choir for over 60 years. She enjoyed boating and spending time at the lake and with family.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey M. (Linda) Larson, and Steven K. (Tina) Larson; two daughters, Catherine L. (Larry) Gerlach, and Linda J. (William) Gunther; seven grandchildren, Christopher Jewell, Shannon Larson, Terry Larson, Erica Newton, Greg Martin, Kevin Martin, and Scott Larson; seven great-grandchildren; her one and only special companion, Bill Mosier; and her beloved dog, Sugarbaby.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Aaron Jewell and Susan Jewell.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Pastor Will Jewsbury officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home and from noon until the time of service on Friday at the church.
