Norma Jane Hartmann

She was born in Kokomo, IN January 29, 1935 to Roscoe and Carrie U. (Shultz) Gentry, She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1952 and attended Ball State University.

Norma lived in Muncie for over 40 years. She worked for Muncie Community Schools as a teacher’s aide, Haney Healthcare and as a service clerk for Walgreens.

Surviving are two daughters; Deborah J. (Mark) Risser, Seymour, IN and Teresa “Jane” (Vernie) Scheiber, Kendallville, IN. She loved spending time with her three loving grandchildren; Carrie Ann (Justin) Black, Fort Wayne, IN, Mollie Jane Scheiber, Kendallville, IN and Magdalena Elizabeth (Andrew) Keller, Fort Wayne, IN, Special friend Gene Coffey, Muncie, IN and several nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Jim, Larry, Jack & Bill Gentry, two sisters; Phyllis Dunn and Barbara Etherington, her twin sister.

Services will be Friday January 4, 2019 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel 3400 S. Webster St. with visitation from 11:00am until time of service on the same day. Burial will immediately follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev Patrick Kuhlman will officiate.
