

Pamela Secord Irwin, 85, of Michigantown, Indiana passed away on July 17, 2026. She was born on April 12, 1941 in Manhattan the daughter of James Benjamin and Ethel Gertrude (Secord) Ricks. She married Arthur Irwin on May 21, 1961 at the Chapel of Grace Methodist Church followed by a honeymoon in Brown County. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1959. She was a synchronized swimmer. She was baptized at St. Andrews Church in Kokomo, Indiana.
Pam was hired as an EMT through Saint Elizabeth in 1986. She completed her paramedic certification course and became a paramedic for Saint Elizabeth in 1999, eventually retiring in 2017.
In the early 1960’s she successfully showed two of her prized German Shepherds. She also loved showing horses. For 25 years she went to Cancun annually and enjoyed scuba diving.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karena Irwin, Ronette Irwin, Lora (Steve) Greeno; grandchildren, Kayla Irwin, Trista Greeno; sister, Cindy (Gary) Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Arthur; sister, Rhoda Moredock.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 - 2:00 on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2026 at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park.
