Patty L. Bowman

Patty L. Bowman, 79, Kempton, passed away on Monday, August 06, 2012, at home with her loving family surrounding her. She was born October 18, 1932, in Kokomo, to Fred and Rosa (Pointer) Dillinger. On March 16, 1951, she married Lester Bowman, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1999. She retired from Delco Electronics after 32 years of service. She is survived by one son-in-law, Glenn Hinkle; five grandchildren, Glenda Hinkle, Glenn (Kristi) Hinkle, Jr., Sherri (Michael) Haskett, Kevin (Loraine) Hughes, and Kim (Gregg) Hughes; niece, Marlene (Bob) Long; step-son, Kip (Sheena) Bowman; step-grandchildren, Kayla Bowman, and Kip (Buddy) Bowman Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Hinkle in 2010; sister, Annabell Schauberger; brother, Manford “Pete” Dillinger; and nephew, Jerry Pearcy. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
