

Paul James Epperson, 73, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Paul was born to Fred and Locky Epperson on August 18, 1944 in Kokomo. He worked for Continental Steel for 23 years, then at Chrysler for 15 ½ years. He was a member of Local 685. Paul married his wife of 24 years, Kathy on November 21, 1992.
Paul loved to collect everything. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Reds, and Nascar’s Tony Stewart. He watched wrestling every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Paul enjoyed gardening tomatoes, and being outside in the summer. He loved life, and he loved his family.
Paul is survived by his wife, Kathy Epperson; children Paul Epperson, Mendy Reeves, Paula (James Reis) Blunt, Jaetta (William) Ferguson; stepchildren Eddie Sanders and Andy (Cathy) Sanders; sisters Barbara Vorhees and Elsie (Will) Bolton; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Locky Epperson; brother-in-law Ron Vorhees; granddaughter Brenda Blunt; and his two dogs, Chip and Lucy.
