Paula Ann Ferrell

Paula (Otiker) Ferrell, 75, was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on June 28, 1944, to Paul and Mary (Lovejoy) Otiker. She attended Kokomo Schools until 1961 and graduated from Western High School in 1963. After graduation, Paula went to work at General Motors. Paula had many jobs throughout her career at General Motors and Delphi. After 45 years of service, Paula retired in 2008 as a supervisor and global process analyst. While working at General Motors, Paula attended night school at Wrights Beauty College. Paula graduated in the class of 1991 and received her license. Paula had numerous hobbies throughout her life, including traveling, fine dining, collecting angels, studying art and was a member of The Great Banquet Community. Art held a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, Paula worked on many different art projects. After retirement, Paula took many art classes. These classes included oil painting, water colors, and sketching. Paula is survived by her two sisters Kathy Bostic and Nancy Bogue. Also surviving are nephews Curt Bogue, Ken Sholty II, David Hounchell, Mark Bostic, and JR Bostic. Also surviving are nieces Joni (Ramseyer) Rainey, Toni (Ramseyer) Meier, Mary Hounchell, and Jennifer Smith. Paula loved all her great nephews and nieces as well. Preceding her in death were two sisters Beverly (Kay) Hounchell and Joyce Sholty, as well as nephews Joe Ramseyer and Scott Bogue. Visitation will be Saturday January 4, 2020 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street. Funeral Services will be the same day at 12:00pm at the mortuary. Burial will immediately follow in Galveston Cemetery. Pastor Toph Elkins will be officiating.

I graduated with Paula from Western . Lived about a mile away from Paula Very proud to have known her in our high school days. Wonderful person who will be missed greatly . Prayers to her family -- Tom Etherington -- sorry we were out of town and just saw the obit.
