

Pauline Louise Sullivan peacefully went to Heaven February 28, 2017 from St. Vincent Kokomo. She was born February 21, 1938 in Paducah, Kentucky to Samuel L. and Addie Lee (Logsdon) Carter. She married John D. Sullivan Sr. on October 23, 1955 in Greentown, Indiana.
Pauline is survived by her husband, John Sullivan; daughter Ruth Ann (Mark) DuPouy; granddaughter Stacy (Ross) Sullivan; great-grandsons Jaxon and Maxwell Sullivan; sisters Nellie Carpenter and Martha (David) Oatley; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; children Rhonda Sullivan (stillborn) and Johnnie Sullivan; brothers Jesse Carter, Sam Carter, David Carter, and Jerry Carter; and sisters Josie Carter, Lettie Schoumaker, Jean Lee, and Omega Curtin.
She attended Kokomo High School. Although, she worked outside of the home from time to time, her full-time job was being a homemaker.
She enjoyed family reunions, gardening, and word search puzzles. Her granddaughter, granddaughter’s husband, and great-grandsons were her sunshine. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m. also at the mortuary, with Pastor, Dr. Mike Holloway officiating.
Pauline will be laid to rest at Crown Point Cemetery.
