Pete loved her family and was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling in the United States and abroad, bowling, golfing and camping.
Pete was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Mandy Hightower, and a sister, Jackie Ward. She is survived by her children, Lynnette Bennett, Bob Hill (Julie), Leslie Waterman (Mark), and Alana LaFave (Lee); 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, John Shepard (Betty) and Larry Shepard (Cindi).
Services will be on Saturday, October 10 at 1 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, with visitation from 11 AM until service time. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
