

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Ralph was a hardworking man who dedicated many years to providing for his family. He worked as a skilled laborer at Continental Steel Corporation. He later obtained his commercial driver’s license (CDL) and continued his career as a truck driver until his retirement.
Outside of work, Ralph was an author who enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing, playing his saxophone, walking, listening to music, playing chess, and, most of all, spending time with his children, family, and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Indria T. Faison (Elliott), Seanta Conyers, Alnisa N. Armstrong, Ralph L. Woodard, Terris M. Woodard (Linda Beni), Courtney Q. Woodard, Shaneece K. Wheeler (Walter III), and Charles A. Reeves IV. Grandchildren: Markus, Azheir, Talayah, Bre’Sean, A’Marion, Zereya, Courtney II, Jayceon, Indiria, Kortni, Asher, Rakiyah, Ra’Mea, Savion, and Jabria. Great-grandchildren: Elivia, Erin, Brennen, Jaleel; Brother, John H. Conyers, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Conyers Sr. and Mercer Lee (Gresham) Conyers; his sisters: Delores Conyers and Morristine Mosley. sis brothers: Rev. Phillip Conyers Jr. (Rose), David Roscoe Conyers; his daughter: Raquel T. Woodard; his grandson: Braylen T. Johnson; his nephew: Kelvin A. Conyers; his sister-in-law, Earlina Conyers.
Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Straitgate Ministries. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Straitgate Ministries, 312 E. North Street, Kokomo. Repass to follow
