

With the given name Calla Ranoma Siler she was born to Wesley Jesse Siler and Margaret Ann Patton Siler May 5th, 1922.
Ranoma attended a few different churches after being born again by accepting Jesus 42 years ago. In 1951 she married George John Shoemaker who preceded her in death. Ranoma was employed at Dietzens Bakery for many years. After retirement she filled her time with church activities, visiting those in need, working out at Body Unlimited and started taking karate lessons at 79 years old with her son George, receiving her green belt, before having to give it up due to a hip replacement at age 84.
Ranoma is survived by two sons George (Candy) Shoemaker and Joe (Chris) Shoemaker both of Kokomo; daughter Kim (Greg) Stahl of Russiaville; brother Russell (Carole) Siler of Frankfort, KY; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Scott (Katherine) Siler of Kokomo, Joseph (Mary) Siler of New Orleans David Siler of Kokomo, daughter Tonji Cain, and three sisters Malinda Siler Hudson, Margo (Frank) Rubow and Madgeline Siler who passed shortly after birth.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Southern Care Hospice and a special thank you to Beth Irick, her caregiver and friend for the past three years.
